Bensleys
Timber Maintenance Company Limited have been trading in the Sussex
area for almost a century, the current office located in Brighton
was opened in 1986. Bensleys offer a full range of services in the
damp proofing, structural water proofing, and timber treatment preservation
industry, including an initial free, without obligation inspection
and written report, with estimates when found to be necessary. We
are a member of the British Wood Preserving and Damp Proofing Association
which is the largest of it’s kind in Europe. The BWPDA is
the national recognised authority on timber and damp problems in
the UK; the BWPDA itself dealing with all relevant government departments,
remaining at the forefront of developments in this area. Further

We
are also members of the Property Care Association which is a division
of the BWPDA, which represents the contractors supply of surveyors
and consultants specialising in damp problems and insect/fungal
decay infestation or infection in buildings.
We hope to briefly explain on our web site the different problems

water proofing, infestation by wood boring insects, and/or decay
by wood rotting fungi species Wet Rot (Coniophora putteana) or more
serious Dry Rot (Serpula lacrymans).
